Updating the stores list that can remain open since the new lockdown
In the Article. 27 to 30, Decree No. 2020-1310 of October 29, 2020, the government has specified the list of businesses and establishments serving the public that are authorized to remain open during lockdown from October 30 to December 1.

However, this list was completed during a second decree of November 2, 2020. In addition to the initial list, here are the businesses and establishments serving the public that are authorized to remain open:
- Activity of social meeting services, provided for in the code of social action and families, as well as family mediation services ;
- Parenthood support activities, including the following: child & parent reception centers, local school support contracts and networks for supervising, supporting and accompanying parents;
- The activity of information, consultation and marital counseling establishments mentioned in the public health code ;
- Reception of vulnerable populations and distribution of basic necessities for people in vulnerable situations;
- Shelters and pounds;
- Organization of competitive tests or examinations.
PLEASE NOTE: in the shopping centers, supermarkets, multi-markets and hypermarkets, only the shelves of basic necessities, whose sale is authorized, are accessible.
The following products can be offered for sale :
- food and beverages ;
- hardware products (including kitchenware, small electrical appliances, batteries, light bulbs) and DIY products;
- drugstore (washing and maintenance products and articles for cleaning);
- consumer medical devices and masks;
- childcare articles including clothing for newborns and infants;
- hygiene, toiletries and beauty products (personal hygiene products, deodorants, shaving, hair products, make-up);
- haberdashery ;
- stationery and press;
- computer and telecommunication products;
- products for pets;
- seeds and fertilizers;
- vehicle maintenance products.
All products sold in shops that are closed for health reasons can no longer be sold in supermarkets. These shelves are closed:
- cultural products (books, CDs and DVDs, video games)
- toys
- jewelry
- the flowers
- articles of clothing
- Sporting goods (excluding cycles)
- furnishings
- big household appliances
General food stores and mini-markets can receive the public for all of their activities.
