BDO in France announces the acquisition CBP Audit & Associés

BDO in France, member of the world's largest audit and advisory network, is following its growth strategy with the acquisition of CBP Audit & Associés, a French audit and advisory company. After Hekla and Adocis, this is the third acquisition made since the beginning of the year.

Founded in 2009 in Marseille, South of France, by former members of major advisory international companies, « CBP Audit & Associés » is a generalist audit and advisory company. Based in Marseille and Strasbourg, CBP has 12 employees and a turnover of nearly €1.3 million in 2021. CBP's main clients are regional SMEs but also large national accounts, mainly in the agri-food, logistics and service sectors.

"The arrival of CBP Audit & Associés within BDO allows us to strengthen the group's activities in Marseille by offering a wider range of services and to develop our services in Eastern France, in line with our strategy," says Arnaud Naudan, CEO of BDO France.

"By joining a company like BDO, which benefits from an international network and high level of expertise, CBP Audit will take a new step forward. We also share common values. BDO France's decision to opt for the status of "entreprise à mission"* was a major argument because we consider that the values of inclusion and environmental and societal responsibility are one of the keys to the success of the company of the future", says Christine Blanc-Patin, co-founder of CBP Audit & Associés.

"BDO seemed to be the most appropriate network to accompany our clients in their development, both in France and abroad, while maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit and an involvement with the leaders of these companies, thus prolonging the values and operating methods that have guided us throughout our career," adds Daniel Noël, co-founder of CBP Audit & Associés.

*Created by the French PACTE act of 22 May 2019, relating to business growth and transformation, the “Entreprise à mission” status allows a company (in France) to include in its legal status a "raison d'être" based on the achievement of objectives, to raise common interest and our impact on the environment’s quality: environmental, social and societal issues.
